Well, you'd have to compile it yourself. But then you'd get no updates from Google Play or F-Droid (which is a bit behind though, I need to push a new release there soon).
If it's any consolation, it took me 8 months as well to finally get there ... ;)
Got the webmetion! I think I've fixed the bug already in the dev version (running that on my phone). Will double check next week and push a new release then :)

What is the URL of the comic you are trying to read, I can try and check if I can fix that - and discover a new comic in the meantime too :)
Hehe yeah, she uses a blank canvas frame in photoshop where she can paste (a part) from another comic into it :)

"Unterleuten" by Juli Zeh will probably be the best book I've read this year. The site also has a ground plan of the village, pretty awesome: https://unterleuten.de - Kudos to @amvlaming as well for the Dutch translation!
