Hey Chris, some answers on the questions you had in this article:
- Unread items per channel: that doesn't exist yet, I've opened it as a feature request
- Marking items unread while scrolling, like Monocle does: opened as a feature request too. It's a tricky thing, but it makes sense. And to be fair, I've tried avoiding it, but I will give it another try!
- Moving a post: this depends on the microsub server. Afaik only the Drupal microsub server supports that call. I've fixed the dialog popup question in the upcoming release, it was confusing indeed.
I've got a couple of other ideas in my mind, but let's try to get these one in first :)

This is achieved by using the extraordinary library written by @burhanrashid52 - it's pure gold! see https://github.com/burhanrashid52/PhotoEditor

Yeah, I'm surprised by the feedback so far, got a couple of mails too within 10 hours after announcement .. great to know it will have a postive impact :)

I've just pushed an alpha release (well, two actually). Storage shouldn't change anymore, so it should be safe to start using in a project already. Happy locking!

Good question :) I guess I was a bit lazy at that time ..

Oh good to know! It's inside the IndieWeb package now (with subscribe and publish support), maybe one day I'll bring it to this one.

Thinking about this some more, WebSub would probably be an interesting addition to core as part of the Open Web ideas, maybe even more than webmentions are (although they are cool too of course) #indieweb // cc @dries

And we have code! The module handles (un)subscribes from hubs and receives notifications from them. Microsub feeds can use WebSub too so there's less polling. Discovery can happen on microformat pages and rss feeds for publishing!

Maybe core maintainers should be able to trigger some high profile and/or known complex contrib projects tests when doing this?

I'm sure I'll be at one of the social events, not sure which one yet, I will send a webmention - pity private ones isn't in yet :)

The coo now has a companion friend and they already like each other too. Thank you Judy :) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3VP_ujD6R1/ #scottishswearinganimals

I've added a small video on the issue that shows the problem, if anyone wants to help out debugging. 95% sure it's a core problem, but not a funny one to figure out :)

If you have an issue, let me know, I can take a look as well. It's tricky stuff, especially with the (now deprecated) Field Layout changes :/ But branch tests for 8.x-3.x are green again, so that's at least something.
